Upon entering Compton, at the village green,turn at the sign - "Compton Cross Country Course" , and continue up the lane for half a mile to the entrance to "100 Acres Farm". A parking area can be found on the left just past the cottages.
It should be noted that the approach to Compton from South Harting goes up Harting Hill which is quite steep. Anyone not quite sure of the abilities of their vehicle should avoid this by coming up from the South via Rowlands Castle or Funtington.
